![]() If a friend has their own library, they can do the same thing with their library, rather than trying to share the same one. You can have any number of libraries, and switch or transfer books from one to the other easily. The "sharee" can assign your Dropbox folder as an alternate library in Calibre, which is easy to do. I'm sure other systems have similar programs. I use Linux, and a free program called Synkron to do this. It essentially makes the Dropbox folder a remote duplicate of my local library. The way I do it is to use a program to do a one-way sync from my local library to my Dropbox folder. Also, you really don't want others to be able to delete your books - I had one friend accidentally delete most of my library (I had a backup, but still.). It's pretty easy, but you have to be careful not to allow more than one person to make changes. I share my Calibre library with a few friends, using Dropbox. Look up following plugin which I am not familiar with: "Overdrive link" I suspect if the computers are in one network that would work. after you mark the connect/share icon, press the arrow for it to go the right column.ĥ. IT is difficult to see when something is marked but clicking does mark and keeps marking multiple icons without holding the shift.Ĭ. ![]() From the new screen brows the left column.ī. From the drop down menu choose: Main toolbarĪ. if you still don't see it open preferences - toolbarģ. Look up for the connect/share icon on the main toolbar.Ģ. You can send it to someones e-mail, the way you send it to yours. I don't know if this exists, does anyone knows it?"
